I had a brilliant week..... again... with
you. Love the fact that horse riding is
around the corner and the garden is
beautiful and you are all so friendly and
accommodating. Thanks a lot and hope to see
you soon....ish if Steve lets me :-) Zambia
was fantastic but exhausting... fishing 10
hours a day... phew... need to go home for a
rest (UK – April 2010) |

Dear Pat & Ali (in Lydenburg). We can't
thank you all enough for the warmth of your
welcomes & all the help & advice you gave

Warmest thanks to you all for a real 'home
from home' stay for our large family party
at comfortable Ipe Tombe when we visited
Midrand for our son's wedding in October
2009. The food, the rooms, the gardens, the
pool, the position and most of all your
friendly hospitality put the icing on our
cake.

We really did enjoy our stay with you..
great introduction to South Africa. You all
did so much to ensure that our stay was
trouble free and genuinely seemed keen and
interested in what we were doing and making
us comfortable.... Thank you to all your
staff... I have to admit to taking the
insect cream with me, having started it, and
it was invaluable!! Seriously though, we
will add comment to trip adviser as
everything was so good.

During my 8 month stint to Midrand (from
Cape Town), I mainly stayed at Ipe Tombe
Lodge. What a pleasant experience. Compared
to some of the other 4 star rated B&B's this
should be 6 stars! After a long day's work
the Ipe Tombe team really made you feel at
home - warm welcome, home cooked meal, room
ready, Internet connectivity, desk to work
from, pool to relax at. Even inviting
friends over for a meal and some drinks is
not a problem. What a great place to stay.
Well done to the team (Pat, Bob, Leroy and
Audrey) for maintaining such a high standard
and making this Home away from Home. Leonard

Best stay in Midrand
It is always a real pleasure staying at Ipe
Tombe, foods great, hosts are always there
to make your stay comfortable and the rooms
have it all. I frequent Midrand weekly on
Business and always stay at Ipe Tombe which
is close to everything but on a safe access
controlled equestrian estate.
Exceptional value for money, one of the few
still in Midrand. |

Hello family…
This is just a short note to let you know
that I arrived safe and sound on the shores
of KZN. Thanks a million for the hospitality
you extended towards me- you will always be
in my heart. I especially miss the beautiful
flowers you shared with me as well.
Please all take care and the next time I
come up to Jozi, you know where’ll be.
Therefore I shall not say goodbye but, till
next time!!!!
May peace and love be with you- always… |
